Cancellation and Refund Policy

Before payment

A brand may cancel a submitted request at no cost at any time before the creator accepts it.

Awaiting payment

Once a creator accepts, the brand has 24 hours to pay. If payment is not completed in that window, the reservation is automatically released and the dates return to available.

After payment, before start

A paid campaign cancelled by the brand before it starts may be eligible for a partial refund, minus a processing fee, at OwnMyBio's discretion.

After activation

Campaigns cancelled after going live are generally non-refundable, except where OwnMyBio determines the creator materially failed to deliver the agreed placement.

Disputes

Either party may open a dispute from their dashboard, or by writing to ownmybio@proton.me. OwnMyBio administrators review evidence and may issue a full or partial refund, or release the payout, based on the outcome. We aim to resolve disputes within 5 business days.
