Terms of Service
1. The service
OwnMyBio is a marketplace connecting creators who make a permanent bio link available for temporary sponsored placements ("campaigns") with brands who book that placement for a fixed period. OwnMyBio is a platform and marketplace payment facilitator, not a party to any endorsement made by a creator, and does not itself produce advertising content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a creator or brand account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Creators represent that they control the social accounts and bio link they list. Brands represent that they have the right to advertise the products/services they submit.
3. Campaigns
A campaign is only published to a creator's public page after the creator explicitly accepts it and payment is confirmed. OwnMyBio may remove any campaign that violates the Prohibited Content Policy or applicable law.
4. Payments
Brands pay OwnMyBio through the marketplace payment flow described at checkout, processed by Stripe. Creator payouts are processed according to the platform's payout policy after a campaign completes and passes admin review. OwnMyBio is not a bank and does not offer escrow as a regulated financial product.
5. Fees and taxes
OwnMyBio charges a marketplace fee (currently 25%, subject to change with notice) deducted from the creator's earnings on each completed campaign. Creators and brands are independent parties, not employees or agents of OwnMyBio, and are each solely responsible for determining and paying any tax owed on amounts they pay or receive through the platform.
6. Termination
OwnMyBio may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or repeatedly triggers disputes. You may close your account at any time; campaigns already accepted and paid remain subject to the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." OwnMyBio does not guarantee campaign performance, audience size accuracy beyond what creators self-report and OwnMyBio can verify, or any particular earnings outcome. To the extent permitted by law, OwnMyBio's liability arising from use of the service is limited to the fees OwnMyBio retained on the campaign giving rise to the claim.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any dispute not resolved through OwnMyBio's internal dispute process (see the Cancellation and Refund Policy) is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Warsaw, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
9. Changes to these terms
OwnMyBio may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced by email and take effect 14 days after notice; continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
